Unico is an adult only resort located midway between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum. White sand beach and romantic settings throughout the hotel give a great atmosphere for the perfect honeymoon. There are 5 restaurants and 3 pools at this resort giving it a boutique resort feel. If you want to add a little bit of adventure to your relaxing, kayaking and snorkeling is available at the resort for no additional fees. There is also a full gym, full spa including hydrotherapy, and options for golfing as well.

The Secrets and Breathless brand resorts are all adult only resorts located throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. This particular resort is my favorite! Secrets Akumal offers room types for everyone, including romantic swim out suites. They also offer a fantastic honeymoon package with perks such as spa discounts and nonstop transfers from the airport.

The name Sandals alone is almost synonymous with LOVE! The Sandals resorts offer gorgeous view and the best options to spoil any couple. With destinations in Barbados, St. Lucia, Grenada, and Jamaica, Sandals in the ideal honeymoon if you are looking for something a little more unique. Did you know you can receive a free honeymoon package when you stay at a Sandals resort? Besides the original inclusions, honeymooners get a chilled bottle of sparkling wine, a special turndown service on the first evening and a decadent breakfast in bed one morning of your choice. You can also add private candlelight dinners and other experiences for an additional cost.

Virgin Voyages is on an island of its own being the only adults only cruise line catering only to adults and couples. This is not only a great honeymoon option but a great option for bachelorette/bachlor parties as well. Virgin doens’t cut any corners when it comes to luxury. Their dining experiences are one of a kind (no buffets on this ship!) and they include so much with their itineraries, like fitness classes, day/night entertainment, and their private beach club in Bimini.

If you are not into the sun and sand, there are other options out there as well. For example, this Norwegian cruise line itinerary takes you to explore all Alaska has to offer. Ever want to visit where Ryan Reynolds is from in the Proposal- you can and its just a gorgeous as in the movie! Norwegian is a great option because of their Free at Sea packages- including wifi, upscale dining options, drink package, port excurion credits, etc.

If you want to visit multiple destinations and don’t mind sharing the ship with families, Royal Caribbean would be a great option for you. The ships are AMAZING with tons of fun built right into the design- everything from water slides and zip lines to the relaxing areas around the spa.
