Going WILD at Animal Kingdom

Aside from the magical experience in the theme parks, Disney also has opportunities to enhance your trip with Enchanting Extras. Most of these extras include behind the scenes tours and VIP experiences. On our recent weekend trip to Wilderness Lodge we decided to forgo the park experience and take the Wild Africa Trek through the safari.

We ended the journey with a private lunch/snack at the pavilion overlooking the savannah. We got to sample unique dishes made by the master chef at Tiffins, a signature restaurant located inside Animal Kingdom. Trust me, the food did NOT disappoint! Then we made our final trek back to reality at the entrance to the safari in the park. We got so many pictures (best part was a photographer goes with you on the trek so you don’t have to worry about getting those once in a lifetime shots!) Check some out below!
